Who this covers

This policy explains how information is handled on this website, innerradiancecounseling.com. The website is operated by Inner Radiance LLC, doing business as Inner Radiance Relational Counseling. Mark Swart, MA, LMFT, LPC, LAC, is the counselor.

It does not describe how clinical records are handled once you become a client. That is covered by the consent, confidentiality and privacy paperwork you receive when we begin working together.

Please keep private details out of messages

Email and website messages are not a secure way to share sensitive information. In your first message, please share only your name, how to reach you, and when you are available. Save the details of what you are going through for our consultation or sessions.

Information this site collects

Information you send me. If you call, email or use the contact form on this site, I receive what you choose to share, such as your first name, phone number, email address and message. The contact form sends your message to my email and does not store it on this website. I use what you send to reply and to schedule a consultation.

Technical information. Like most websites, the server that hosts this site automatically records technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the site working and secure.

Cookies and tracking. This site does not use advertising trackers, analytics services, social media pixels or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party.

How information is used

• To reply to your message and schedule a free consultation.
• To keep this website secure and working properly.
• To meet legal obligations.

I do not sell or rent your information, and I do not send marketing emails.

Who can see it

Service providers that host this website and handle email process information on my behalf. I do not share it with anyone else, except when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect someone’s safety.

How long it is kept

Messages from people who do not become clients are kept only as long as needed to respond, and are then deleted. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited time.

Security

This site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to its administration is restricted. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure. If a data breach affects your information, I will notify you as required by Colorado law.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I hold from your messages, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Contact me using the details below.

Telehealth and your clinical information

Counseling sessions are held by video. Your clinical information, including how it is protected and when it can be shared, is governed by the consent and privacy documents you receive when you start. Those documents take priority over this policy for anything related to your care.

Who this site is for

This website is intended for adults. It is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Effective October 29, 2026.
